The Doctor

Dr. Fred M. VanderSchaaf 

Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.), Board Certified Chiropractic Orthopedist (D.A.B.C.O.) and also a Fellow in the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture (F.I.A.M.A.)

Dr. VanderSchaaf graduated from National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois in August 1980.  He practiced in Chicago before moving to Florida and was also the first evening clinician at the PRC associated with National College in Lombard, llinois which was the largest In-Patient Chiropractic Research Center in the country.  

Dr. VanderSchaaf moved to Central Florida in 1982 and established VanderSchaaf Chiropractic Clinic in Altamonte Springs, Florida on March 1, 1982.  He moved to his present location at 982 Douglas Avenue, Suite 102 in Altamonte Springs, Florida in October 1987. 

Dr. VanderSchaaf is married (August 13, 1977) to his wife Joan, who he met in college at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana.  They have three daughters, Ashley (24), Holly (21) and Hilary(19) and resides in Lake Mary, Florida. 

Dr. VanderSchaaf  is  a Board Certified Chiropractic Physician, a Board Certified Chiropractic Orthopedist  and a Fellow in the International Academy of  Medical  Acupuncture.    He also has over 150 hours of post-graduate study in the evaluation of permanent impairment utilizing the "Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment" by the American Medical Association and is well-versed in courtroom testimony for his patient's injured in automobile accidents.
